Tech Support with a Personal Touch: The Local Service Advantage

Tech Support with a Personal Touch: The Local Service Advantage

Local IT support in West Monroe means a named person, scheduled on-site visits during business hours, and remote help the rest of the time. It is not a response-time promise.

Local tech support in West Monroe is a named person who already knows the tenant, not a ticket queue in another state. NewRockIT is founder-led. Josh Haber designs the environment and still takes the call. Human help desk and on-site work are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central. Monitoring of covered systems can run continuously. That is the offer. It is not a response-time promise.

On-site is scheduled

West Monroe is home base. Monroe is the other half of the Twin Cities. Ruston is a planned drive on I-20. When the work is a rack, a wireless survey, or a new office, we schedule the visit during business hours. Day-to-day tickets close over Splashtop, which you start from the Help page so the session is yours to begin. We do not sell 24/7 on-site coverage, and we do not treat every outage as a truck already rolling.

Why a local practice is different from a national queue

A national desk can reset a password. It has not seen the wiring closet, the shared front-desk PC, or the Microsoft 365 tenant you have been living in. The advantage is context: one person who remembers the backup product, the phone system, and who still has Global Admin. We will not quote an unsourced percentage about customers switching providers, and we will not claim a roster of clients who have been here for a stated number of years.

What you actually get

  • A founder you can name, not a rotating dispatcher.
  • Help desk by phone or email during published hours, and remote sessions you start.
  • On-site in West Monroe, Monroe, Ruston, and nearby towns when the work is physical and scheduled.
  • Microsoft 365, backups, and security hygiene in the same practice as the help desk.
  • An honest no when the request is overnight truck rolls or a 15-minute physical response time.

How to start

Call (318) 532-5964 or email hello@newrockit.com and schedule a discovery call. There is no standing free technology assessment. The first conversation is to see whether managed IT, co-managed support next to someone you already employ, or a smaller project is the right shape. If you need a follow-the-sun desk, we will say so on that call.
