Terms of Use
Last updated: August 20, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of NewRockIT's website at https://newrockit.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
NewRockIT is a founder-led technology practice based in West Monroe, LA. We are a service-area business. We do not operate a public walk-in storefront, and this Site does not publish a street address.
Website terms are not a services agreement
These terms cover the Site only. Managed IT, Microsoft 365, development, consulting, cybersecurity, and related work are provided under a separate written agreement. A discovery call, a completed contact form, or a Microsoft Bookings reservation is not an engagement and does not create a support SLA.
If something on this Site conflicts with a signed client agreement, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.
What we do—and what this Site does not promise
Unless a written agreement says otherwise:
- Human help desk and on-site work run Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time.
- Monitoring of systems we have agreed to cover may run continuously. Continuous monitoring is not 24/7 on-site coverage and is not an overnight help desk.
- We do not invent headcount, certifications, partner tiers, or after-hours physical response on this Site. If a capability is not written into your agreement, do not assume it from marketing copy.
Using the Site
You may use the Site to learn about our practice and to contact us. You may not:
- Scrape, overload, or attempt to break the Site or related systems
- Submit false, abusive, or unlawful content through the contact form or other channels
- Impersonate NewRockIT, Josh Haber, or a NewRockIT technician
- Use Site content to suggest an endorsement we have not given
Partner catalog pages (for example Microsoft and Lenovo offers) load third-party widgets. Those offers, if any, are governed by the partner and the catalog provider—not by these terms.
Contact, bookings, and security checks
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Do not attempt to bypass it. Messages are processed so we can respond during business hours. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
Scheduling a discovery call through Microsoft Bookings only reserves time. It does not start billed work or remote access.
Remote support
Remote assistance (including Splashtop SOS on the Help page) is initiated by you. Download or run a remote tool only after you contacted NewRockIT through a number or address published on this Site. We will not ask you to install a support app because an unexpected caller claimed to be IT. You may end a session at any time.
Remote support for non-clients is not guaranteed. Existing clients follow the process in their agreement.
Clients named on this Site
Names of organizations on the Site (including the rotating sample on About) are a partial snapshot of our book of business, not a complete list and not a ranking. Appearance on this Site is not a quote, case study, or endorsement by that organization unless they say so themselves. We do not publish invented testimonials or star ratings.
Intellectual property
Site design, copy, logos, and other NewRockIT materials are owned by us or used with permission. You may not copy the Site for commercial use without written consent. Trademarks of Microsoft, Lenovo, Splashtop, and other vendors belong to their owners.
No professional advice from web copy
Blog posts and service pages are general information for business owners. They are not legal, accounting, or insurance advice, and they are not a substitute for an assessment of your environment.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Website content may lag the current state of a client environment or a Microsoft 365 tenant.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NewRockIT is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Site. Our total liability related to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). This limit does not replace any different cap in a signed services agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes about the Site is the state or federal courts serving Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page is the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
